About Weave
Weave is a daily word-grid puzzle: every row and column is a real word, with a few cells locked in to give you a starting point. Each day's puzzle is the same for everyone.
The game is inspired by the Boston Globe's Align; the grid layouts and difficulty are generated from scratch here.
Identity and data
Your identity lives in your browser as a cryptographic keypair — no email, no password. You can give yourself a username so your solves show up on the leaderboard. Game state, streak, and history are stored in your browser's local storage.
You can move your identity to another device via the Settings dialog (gear icon) → "Export identity". The export is short-lived (5 minutes) and can be scanned as a QR code or copied as text.
